As a Quaker and a citizen concerned about environmental justice, I find it unconscionable that that a company from Denmark would build a factory in West Virginia that they would not be allowed to build in Denmark. Even more distressing is that government officials in West Virginia are allowing such a toxic operation to pollute an area which is clearly already feeling the impacts of pollution. This affects homeowners on Needy rd, Martinsburg as construction of pipeline is destroying our private road. No repair of compensation is offered. Don't need the toxins in our waterways either as a creek runs across land under needy road. The heavy equipment is collapsing a pipe under the road for the water to flow and destroying the road. No repair or compensation has been offered to us as homeowners who are told to repair the damage ourselves. Not a county road. Private and they are dupkong large tire and rocks on our property and tearing up the road. After that we have to deal with the toxins the plant will poison the waterways. We are left to spend our limited cash to repair the damage cause by the installation of the pipeline through our neighborhood in Berkeley county WV (outskirts of Martinsburg, WV).
