Having this factory to be built will have an environmental impact poses threats to all citizens including the most vulnerable.Effect Agricultural mainly who had farmed for many generations.Not to mention threats to groundwater,streams and the natural surroundings that we and the tourist trade cherish and love the valleys and mountain ridges.I am proud to say I highly oppose this project so please I hope there are more of us to agree and tell us we don't want Rockwool.I don't live here locally however I would like to see it protected. The sneaky & underhanded way in which this project is being pushed through can only be the result of corrupt officials selling out to Big Business, without the slightest bit of concern for their constituents! I think every politician that voted for, funded, or in any way enabled or furthered this project, should be compelled, forcibly if necessary, to live right next to it. The fact that so many highly divergent groups of people & municipalities have joined together in opposition of Rockwool should send a clear signal to the perpetrators that they have gone too far, & the Citizens will not stop fighting until this project is permanently cancelled.REPORT COMMENTS

How unbelievable that something like this can be approved without the knowledge of the citizenry and without concern for public safety! I live in Loudoun VA and don't want Rockwool's pollution coming this way as predicted. I can imagine how disenfranchised the people of Jefferson County must feel to have this inappropriate industrial plant forced onto them, destroying property values, a rural landscape, and the health and safety of their families.REPORT COMMENTS
