I feel like it's my right not to be exposed to heavy emissions and cancer causing pollution in the air. This always has a detrimental long-term effect on the surrounding area, and is hard to reverse. One thing I love about living here is the clean air, but the cement factory in Martinsburg is ugly enough, and it's not like that's a job for ME. I'm not about to go work at a cement factory because I'm not a dude. So these jobs are for men, not mothers and daughters. We are being left out in the debate. We are being ignored because JOBS how about a job that creates growth and produces more than pollution and waste. Invest in alternative energy, lead the way to a brighter future for generations. Its as if people forgot that the future still exists, we haven't trashed it all completely as a self-destructive race. I see this endless race for jobs at the expense of climate to be far more destructive to the economy and jobs in the future to be completely honest. The more money invested in destructive and less-economically sustainable projects the less we have to work with.REPORT COMMENTS
